There are few people that disagrees that research paper who do not already agree that research is an important aspect of the undergraduate experience. Furthermore, most will agree that there is no substitute for experience, and the best way to demonstrate to students the excitement of discovery is to have them experience it first hand, so why should research? For students like me, when i say knowledge it just means new knowledge but then it is not that acceptable. There are still knowledge or learnings that needs further understanding that makes needs for research experiences.
In finding research problems, the number one thing that we should consider is our interests. If do we really like that research topic? Or do we really like to engage to it?
The question is does the choice of research topic does affect the future career of a person? For me, it really depends on the person. Our future is not something we can predict. It is something that is related with our past works. As a human being, it is natural that our interest changes fro time to time so it doesn't mean that our choice of research topic in the past can still be our interest in the future. Because when I graduate it doesn't mean that my future job is still related with my undergraduate course, so, it means that my research project in the past which is related with my course is really needed or does affect my future career.
On the other hand, research topic can still be related with my future or does affect my future career. In the sense that my job is related to it, my sense of interests still the same with my research project, and if that research topic plays a great role in my life or I can say that it is the center of my intellectual needs.
